BUILDING CUSTOM PINE SHELVING WITH CARIBBEAN BLUE RIVER

This order is for a repeat customer who wanted to add a simple shelf

We decided on a pine shelf with a Caribbean Blue River

We built a plexi form with plywood support for the deep pour

We chose some aged pine with a great deal of character

The deep pour is the full depth of the river

The torch removes the bubbles and settles the resin

The swirls and color variations can be affected now

A sealer coat is added for a final finish

We then decided to add two half rounds to bookend the shelf

This piece was perfect

The matching bookends were sanded

The sealer coat was added

The shelves are now ready for mounting

the positioning and aligning with the studs were marked

The corbels were added for support and aesthetics

The natural rustic charm of the pine brought a cozy warmth to the room.

Each piece has its own unique character

The shelves are perfect for displaying our clients’ favorite items

We loved the dragon over the river

A great space for showcasing the geode

The live edge compliments the artwork

The finish requires little maintenance

A light dusting and occasional all purpose cleaner will keep the surface shining and clean
