This review is long overdue. Anne was so great with helping me put together a memorable Father’s Day gift. For men who love to grill, the oversized oak cutting board was perfect! You cannot find something this large and one piece in any store. The solid oak with the ability to personalize it for a gift was exactly what I was looking for! Anne and crew did an amazing job!

I cannot sing enough praises for Mountain Dog Millworks. I wanted a flat surface for kneading bread, rolling out dough etc. They replaced the 6 inch tile on my island with a beautiful red oak counter top and boy is it gorgeous. I rarely walk by without just swiping my hand across the beautiful work!

Anne was so helpful getting my order together and shipped with tracking, all in time for my fiancées birthday! There was a very “homey” feeling working with the team😊

Another wonderful piece completed. ❤️Thanks so much Mountain Dog Millworks! We love it!

We work for a film and prop company. Whenever we need special lumber, slabs or tree's . You can count on "MOUNTAIN DOG" to get it done. Thanks again Marvin

The people here make the business, easy to work with and very good at their work. I very much like the locally sourced wood instead of just toss in the burn pile, they use literally the whole tree. 1st piece semi-custom, 2nd piece full custom very happy with results. Have contracted for my 3rd item expected to be happy with it also. Numerous every day items, plus custom items. Use your imagination they can do it

Super helpful staff. Glad we visited. I got some local wood for a project.

Having personally witnessed the exceptional craftsmanship at Mountain Dog Millworks, Inc., we commissioned their team to create a unique, portable food preparation island using locally and sustainably sourced oak. Despite their beautiful initial design, a challenge with the wood curing for this project emerged. Undeterred, they proposed an alternative butcher block design, demonstrating their adaptability beyond their typical projects. The resulting centerpiece is truly spectacular, an instant heirloom that our family will cherish for generations.

WOW! WOW! WOW! We are over the moon with our new front door insert. Our original extra wide door had a very 70's stain glass and sand blasted etching of a deer with antlers, not the modern mountain home vibe we were looking for. The oval shaped replacement designed and created by Toby is next level. It fits our homes style perfectly and makes our entry way pop. It's one of a kind, just like Toby and we couldn't be more pleased with its uniqueness. If anyone is looking to add a splash to their home, challenge Toby and the MDW team, they will surpass your highest expectations.

I have a dining table that I turned into my work desk. So beautiful and feels good to touch. 😊 Resin finish is perfect to work on. I absolutely LOVE it!!! Company was great to work with.

They r kind & friendly. Do absolutely beautiful work! Highly recommend MDM for all custom wood work. We could not be happier w/countertops!

I love the work that was done to make us a one of a kind mantle it is beautiful. We are having more work done by them

From the first contact with Toby at Mountain Dog Millworks to the day of installation, we were completely satisfied with every aspect of our project. These guys are professionals. We commissioned a 199" redwood slab with a live edge for our office desk. After a conversation detailing the process of finding the appropriate tree (dead on the property so no live trees were hurt in the process), cutting the slabs, kiln drying, finishing and epoxy application we were ready to go. We discussed the details we were interested in including holes at 77" and 144" offset one inch from the back of the slab to pass wires, live edge on the front, matte epoxy, and Mountain Dog had no problems with any of our requests. The price was excellent, and they shipped and installed for free. We now have a beautiful redwood slab in our office that is unique and a work of natural art. We're planning on commissioning a game table made from horizontal cut in the future. We can't wait to work with these guys again! I give my highest recommendation.

MDM does AMAZING work. They listen to their customers wants and go above and beyond what's expected. What I love about them is that they do what do because they are very passionate about their creations so you know that your wood piece will be made with the utmost attention to detail and put together using only premium quality materials...every single piece of wood is from their own backyard which is just incredible that the beautiful things they create has been in their hands from start to finish. It doesn't get any better than this with solid wood furniture.
