Because our products are handcrafted and often made to order from kiln-dried, sustainably harvested timber, our return policy varies by category. Please review the guidelines below before placing your order.
Custom Slabs (Oak, Pine, Fir, Redwood)
All custom-cut slabs are final sale.
Each slab is milled and kiln-dried to your specified dimensions and cannot be restocked or resold. Natural wood characteristics — including knots, grain variation, color differences, and minor checking — are not defects.
If your slab arrives damaged or does not match your invoice dimensions, notify us within 72 hours of delivery with photos.
Custom Furniture & Installations
Includes countertops, islands, bar tops, mantles, desks, shelving, and built-ins.
- Deposits are non-refundable.
- Orders are non-refundable once production begins.
- Final balance is due before delivery or upon installation.
Because these pieces are built specifically for you, they cannot be returned.
Shipping damage or workmanship concerns must be reported within 72 hours.
Small Home Goods & Decor
Includes serving trays, charcuterie boards, cutting boards, lap tables, cookies, coasters, and Lazy Susans.
- Made-to-order items: Final sale.
- In-stock items: Returnable within 14 days if unused and in original condition. Customer is responsible for return shipping.
Refunds are issued after inspection.
Specialty & Limited Woods
Walnut, Elm, Ash, Eucalyptus, Hickory, Maple, Cedar and other limited-supply species are final sale once cut or milled.
These woods are offered in small quantities and cannot be replaced once processed.
Important Notes About Wood
Wood is a natural material. Grain variation, mineral streaks, knots, and seasonal movement are normal and are not considered defects.
All slabs are kiln-dried for stability, but proper acclimation, sealing, and humidity control remain essential.
