Limited Supply Specialty Wood Slabs Available at Mountain Dog Millworks

At Mountain Dog Millworks, we occasionally acquire specialty hardwood slabs in limited quantities beyond our standard kiln-dried pine, fir, red oak, and redwood inventory. These rare woods are ideal for clients seeking distinctive character, dramatic grain, and elevated design appeal.

Because these species are not part of our regular stock, availability changes quickly. If you’re planning a custom table, live edge desk, kitchen island, mantle, shelving, or architectural feature, we encourage you to contact us directly for current inventory, dimensions, and pricing.

Why Choose Specialty Hardwood for Your Custom Project?

Specialty woods offer benefits that standard lumber often cannot match:

• Unique grain patterns and figure
• Rich natural color variation
• Enhanced durability (species dependent)
• High-end visual appeal
• One-of-a-kind slabs for statement pieces

These woods are particularly well-suited for centerpiece builds where character and individuality matter.
